As an art director or graphic designer in the industry – you would have already seen a major shift in the type of work you’re doing. Print ads, billboards, packaging, brochures and magazines are jobs that probably no longer take up the majority of your time. Yes, there will always be a place for traditional media but if you want to keep up with the times, you’ll need to brush up on your digital skills.

Art directors and graphic designers are expected to have digital skills in today’s world, you’ll need to design animated banners, logo builds, infographics and explainer videos. Brochures are becoming videos on YouTube and your ad campaign that won the award now needs an explainer video to go with it. It is just what it is.

Now that’s where the AAA comes in, we know that learning a new software programme can be daunting at the best of times – but if you have working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop – you’ll be fine. We offer an 8 week online short course in After Effects. It is taught by me, Mike Lanesman, an accredited Adobe training partner and I’ll be with you every step of the way. The classes are held after hours on teams and led by me. So this means you can ask me anything you need to at any time. You’ll also have access to our online learning platform, where you will be able to download recordings of the classes and all the resources.
