AAA #AList Showcase
Some careers read like a straight line. Sharleen’s reads like a masterclass in staying in the room long enough to run it.
She started as a Trainee Account Executive and Personal Assistant at Ogilvy in 1990, not long after completing her Diploma in Advertising at AAA. Over the following three decades she worked her way through Account Manager, Business Unit Director and eventually Deputy Managing Director at Ogilvy Johannesburg, before taking the Group Managing Director seat at King James and leading Accenture Song’s work across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East. Today she’s Managing Director of Razor Public Relations, part of the Up&Up Group.
What stands out is the consistency of a career spent building teams, training academies and client relationships that lasted decades rather than campaigns. That’s what an AAA grounding sets students up for: not a single big break, but the staying power to keep earning the next one.
