As a result of internal reorganization, the AAA School of Advertising is currently recruiting for a Personal Programme Administrator (PPA) who is willing to join the institution by 1 April 2018.


The PPA will form part of the  student administrative team, taking responsibility for all aspects of student administrative support in connection with specific programmes, by ensuring that the services are timeous efficient and effective, and being adaptive to the ever-changing environment of our students and higher education and training.


Under the guidance of the Registrar, the PPA will work closely with other PPA’s within and across the AAA campuses as a team, to develop common systems and standardized best practice, and ensure that the AAA academic regulations and procedures are adhered too. The PPA will be in constant communication with students from registration until graduation, and is required to have excellent organization skills which demonstrates initiative.


This is a busy and varied role which requires the person to communicate persuasively and tactfully with academic staff to ensure cooperation and compliance within the academic year. A PPA must be able to work to tight deadlines on his/her own initiative, and to learn new systems and procedures rapidly.


Minumum Requirements:

  • Matric with at least 5 years relevant student administrative experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Excel and any student administrative system such as ICAS.
  • A degree or diploma coupled with three years experience in a similar environment will be highly recommended.

The AAA School of Advertising, which is an internationally accredited advertising and marketing communication higher education institution owned by the SA advertising industry (Association for Communication and Advertising), is recruiting permanent senior faculty members to join the academic team at its Cape Town Campus.


Minimum Requirements:

  • M. Com/MBA (Marketing/Marketing Communication) degree
  • Advertising industry/marketing experience.
  • A thorough understanding of the advertising and marketing communications industry.
  • At least 5 years lecturing experience.



  • A relevant PhD in Marketing/Marketing Communication.
  • Management and research experience in an academic or business environment.


Please note:

The successful candidate may be required to serve as the Head of Faculty for an initial three-year period, which period is renewable based on inter-alia, performance. The candidate will however retain his/her substantial permanent position as lecturer.


To start by 1 April 2018 or soon thereafter.
